Iso Propyl Acetate 99%
Isopropyl acetate is an organic compound produced through the esterification reaction of acetic acid and isopropanol. This solvent mixes well with most organic solvents, but due to the longer alcohol chain in its molecular structure, it has lower miscibility with water compared to methyl acetate and ethyl acetate. In terms of properties, isopropyl acetate is comparable to ethyl acetate.
Applications
Isopropyl acetate is mainly used in fast-drying paints and printing inks. It also serves as an active solvent for synthetic resins such as cellulose acetate butyrate, nitrocellulose, vinyl copolymers, polyester, polyamide, acrylics, and alkyds, as well as fats, plastics, and in pharmaceutical, agricultural, coating, and many other chemical industries.
